I am a qualified teacher with over 30 years` experience of working with children and young people.

For much of my teaching career, I worked with students who had difficulties with their studies, and I am skilled at developing individual programs enabling students to progress, with the aim of increasing their confidence and building on from what they already know.

In 2009, I studied for a Masters Degree in Information Studies which gave me qualified librarian status. For the last 7 years of my career, I worked as a College Librarian at a Sixth Form College, where I was involved in teaching students study skills and effective use of information.

I am now retired, but am currently employed part-time by the University of Brighton as an Academic Support Worker, supporting undergraduate students with disabilities.

Availability: Weekdays during the day or some evenings

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I worked for 7 years as a teacher in Primary Schools, then for 18 years in Special and Residential Education.

I have 7 years` experience of working as a librarian with A Level students.
