Hola! I am Caitlin, I am a qualified Spanish teacher and I tutor in Leeds and London. Currently I also teach Spanish A Level at New College in Doncaster. I have experience tutoring at GCSE, A Level and Degree level and I aim for my lessons to be enjoyable and relaxed whilst making sure you have all the support/resources you need to improve grammar, speaking, writing and other key language skills.

I hold a First Class degree in BA Spanish and Music from the University of Leeds. My university course included a Language Teacher Training module, a year abroad in Andalucía as a British Council language assistant and covered a broad range of topics surrounding the beautiful Spanish language: Spanish and Latin American literature, politics, history, music, international relations and economy as well as a solid grounding in the basic and advanced language structures.

I have tutored Spanish for 6 years alongside my degree as well as being an English teacher in Spain for two years. My students learn fast, achieve excellent results in exams and also improve confidence abroad which can be a great building block for learning. I am bilingual, having learnt Spanish since the age of 13 with my family in Ecuador and friends and colleagues in Spain. I have a great passion for teaching children, young people and adults and two years ago I completed a PGCE in Spanish at secondary school level. I am fully DBS checked.

I would prefer to tutor in my own home (Chapel Allerton/Gledhow - £20/hour) but can travel to you if you are reasonably close by or can meet in a public place in Leeds city centre (£25/hour or 2 hour lesson for £40).
