My name is Gemma and I am a graduate in BA French and International Development at the University of Sussex. I spent my third year of university abroad in Toulouse, and my French is level C1 in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. I offer private one-to-one lessons to both children (A-level, GCSE, KS3 etc.) and adults at £20/h. Lessons take place at the student’s house or another suggested location, whereby I am able to travel within the Brighton and Hove area. Lessons will be based upon the student`s personal goals, focusing on different skills that need development: reading, listening, speaking, writing, grammar and vocabulary

Experience: I have a year`s experience of French tutoring, have taught English as a foreign language for 3 months in Togo, West Africa and I have experience as an au pair in France helping children aged 9-12 to learn English. I am a patient, understanding and encouraging teacher.
