I am passionate about Psychology and have a love of learning that I enjoy passing on to my students.

I look forward to working with students to help them develop skills and progress with success through their academic studies. I understand that the demands of university can be overwhelming and everyone learns and retains information in different ways. As a result, I strive to work with my tutees to find the method that works best for them and help build their confidence.

Experience: I worked as a Postgraduate teaching assistant during my PhD which involved leading my own seminars and assisting lecturers during lectures and lab classes. Working with people is something I enjoy greatly and I am looking to help students develop research, writing, exam and critical thinking skills to make their time at university enjoyable and successful.

During my PhD I also marked first-year undergraduate lab reports and essays, offering written and one-to-one feedback and guidance have experience working with students through both the learning and writing process.

While I have a broad interest in all areas of psychology my main focus during my PhD was in qualitative research methods and health and wellbeing. However, I have also worked on a number of research projects which have broadly explored bullying, diabetes, internationalisation, friendship and social support. Three of these studies I now have publications in.
