My name is Anna, 30 years old I am a professional language teacher, PHD graduated in Comparative and World Literature (Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China), previously MA graduated SOAS, University of London (Chinese Studies).I have 2 years experience teaching in the Uk and 5 years of language teaching in China. I am now based in London.
My educational background focuses on languages, literature and translation: I granted a BA in foreign languages, University of Bologna, Italy, followed by an MA in Chinese Studies at SOAS, University of London, UK and I have just been awarded with a PHD in Comparative and World literature in the prestigious Zhejiang University, Hangzhou.
Thanks to my academic and work career I granted excellent language and communication skills: my Chinese (Mandarin) is really fluent as I have been studying it at university level since 2004 and I have been living in China for almost 5 years. In addition, my English is at a native level, having been studying it for several years and having lived in London for more than 3 years.
I am extremely punctual and reliable, dynamic and creative girl, devoted to teaching and languages and art, which are my passions. I am extremely sociable and out – going, because of that it is very easy to establish a good connection with students.

Experience: As for my work experience, I grant 7 years experience in the field of foreign language teaching (Chinese, English and Italian) in China and UK, which ranges to kindergarten (0-6 ys old), to secondary school and adults. I taught to classes of different sizes and levels (from beginners to advanced) and to individual students as private tutor. I have been teaching English and Italian at University level, in the prestigious Zhejiang University My language knowledge, therefore not only cover conversational and written Chinese and English, but is reinforced by technical knowledge of specific terms related to grammar and linguistics in both languages. To conclude, I gained the worldwide recognized Certificate for teaching English TEFL in 2007.
