I am an experienced teacher of maths and science (biology, chemistry and physics). I have taught from Key Stage 2 to GCSE level in maths and science and biology to A level students. In addition, I have tutored students at primary level and those taking entrance exams.

I have been an examiner for OCR (GCSE biology) and, more recently, GCSE biology for Edexcel..

Availability: Monday - Friday from 4 p.m. Saturday from 10 a.m.

Experience: I have taught science and maths in secondary schools for 25 years I have taught all 3 sciences and maths to GCSE and biology to A level.
At a Middle School (years 5-8), I was Head of Science and Maths, with responsibility for delivering the curriculum and supporting non-science specialists. Subsequently, I was Head of Science at a secondary school, with responsibility for planning and delivering the three sciences across the ability range to Key Stages 3 and 4.
Since I retired from mainstream teaching, I tutored for a local tutoring agency for 6 years. I worked for several years for ESTMA, which was npart of Hertfordshire`s education programme, teaching students who are not in school for medical reasons. For the last few years, I have been tutoring students to GCSE in maths and science from Foundation to Higher grades, either in their home or mine.
