I am patient and sensitive to students` past or current difficulties with the subject and seek to build their confidence at it, whilst improving their skills.

I have high expectations for students and will endeavour to help them reach their potential as quickly as possible.

Experience: I have 15 years` experience teaching English in a wide variety of secondary schools, which includes several grammar schools in the local area. I`m an experienced and competent teacher, who can teach the full range of ability for Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 (including GCSE, A Level and Functional Skills).

Educated to Masters degree level in English Literature.
