I am a Japanese national who has been living in the UK over 30 years. My mother tongue is obviously Japanese but I do speak fluent English as I have had a full time job working for various sectors in the UK for over 25 years. In the past few years, I am working as a freelance for anything related to Japanese language i.e. inventory for Japanese property agents, interpreter/translator, teaching both businessmen and children

Availability: I can teach any age pupils, children from Primary, KS1 to GCSE level as well as more conversational lesson for business people.

Experience: I do have a very flexible approach depending on the needs of pupils. Some of my pupils are trying to do Japanese GCSE (so more grammar than conversation), some of them are willing to go and work in Japan in the future (so I need to combine grammar and conversational lesson). For businessmen, the lessons are definitely more conversational lesson as they are working for a Japanese company and have lots of opportunities to visit Japan for their businesses. For children who are interested in Japanese anime, TV games etc, I also use some of those materials to teach as well in order to keep their motivation high. Therefore I mix conversational lesson with grammar depending on the pupil.
