Information about Angela
I have been teaching Maths for over 24 years, in several schools including as head of department for most of them. I now run my own business but also work in a couple of schools a week. I am happy to teach up to GCSE and am very familiar with the 9-1 Maths curriculum and GCSE requirements both Higher and Foundation. I have taught as a private tutor for many years. I can either come to you in your home or we could do online if your prefer. I have recently completed an MSc in Educational Neuroscience and so bring some of the latest thinking and research about memory and the brain into my teaching.
Availability: daytime or evenings
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: 24 years in state secondary school, including as a head of department for 20 years. Concurrently 10 years experience as a private tutor. And 2 years working with students too ill to access mainstream school.
Currently working in 3 east sussex schools as an intervention tutor.
