I am a young enthusiastic academic in my second year of university undergoing an engineering degree. Despite enjoying every aspect of education, maths has always a subject i have excelled in. This interest has provided me both with an aptitude for the subject and an ability to teach it. Being a very social and active person through both sport, and university has allowed me to become a friendly and approachable individual.

Availability: With being a university student my hours match that of the schooling timetable and so my availability lies within all evenings and weekends.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: Despite having never professionally taught the subject, I have Five years experience in the field of maths at a high level; from higher, through advanced higher to a university standard. Such insight has provided me with a deep understanding of the subject, something which I am seeking to share. Throughout school I taught many younger years in subjects such as computing, maths and english as part of the Prefect and Buddy system.
Despite being examined against the former “Standard Grade and Old Higher” curriculum, I am fully familiar with the content and learning outcomes of the Curriculum for Excellence and feel my knowledge is directly transferable to the current exam standard.
