Information about Kirsty
I am a friendly and approachable teacher who shows care and compassion to the children with which I work. I am committed to ensuring children in my care receive the best education, tailored to their individual needs and I believe that building a child’s confidence and enjoyment of learning is key to their success.
As a mother of two young children, I have first hand experience of caring for children in a home environment and of understanding their needs. I am calm and patient by nature and have built up a fantastic reputation during my career of working with children and adults and forming positive relationships.
I love the outdoors and being creative.

Experience: I am a qualified primary school teacher with 10 years experience of working with children of a range of ages and abilities with different social/economic backgrounds. My skills lie mostly in KS1 but I can accommodate older children. I have recently had experience of a successful external moderation as well as fantastic results in the phonics screening check and KS1 SATs.
Over the years I have taken part in a range of training to further enhance my professional development. I’m always eager to better my own teaching abilities as I have high expectations of myself and those I teach. This is reflected in my performance as a teacher and the reputation I have built up within the schools I have worked in, in both permanent roles and on supply.
