Hello! I am Alexander! I initially harboured ambitions of becoming a teacher but instead followed in the family footsteps and went to sea as a merchant deck officer. Having sailed on container ships and car carriers for six years, I "retired" my stripes and came ashore. After reading political science at university, I began a second career as a training specialist with the Royal Navy, which combined my passion for learning with the sea.

Since coming ashore, I have enjoyed success as a highly experienced and qualified teaching professional with over 10 years spent tutoring students in Business Studies and Politics and International Relations across GCSE, A Level and University. I specialise in Political science, (AQA and Edexcel) Business Studies (OCR, AQA and Edexcel), and the humanities (AQA, OCR, Edexcel). I have also tutored in Law, Sociology and History across GCSE and A Levels. My average for student attainment is +2 grades from when they started with me.

I am passionate about tutoring and supporting students to achieve their potential, especially post-COVID.

Availability: I am widely available throughout the week and weekends, including days and evenings.
