I have recently retired and wish to continue helping young people grow in confidence to tackle the hurdle that low self belief in Maths often creates. I have many years experience in helping students pass the 11 +, Common Entrance and GCSE exams as we have built their confidence to maximise their potential.

Experience: I have taught Maths for the last 11 years at Pangbourne College, a co-educational school for 11 to 18 year olds, as well as tutoring, privately, children from years 5 and 6. My speciality has been helping children who feel unable to conquer maths by building their confidence which allows them to exceed their original expectations in the exam room. This often has meant working with children who see a grade 4 or 5 at GCSE as a massive achievement, although I have also taught children who had the ability to gain top grades as GCSE as well as AS level.
