I was awarded by BA.Hons in English Literature and German from Trinity College, Dublin and went on to achieve my MA and M.Litt in English Literature (the latter, a three-year research degree on the works of James Joyce).

I have been tutoring in English Lit. at GCSE and A level for some years now (references available) and am also keen to maintain my English language teaching to foreign students who wish to improve their grammar, conversation and written work. I am EFL qualified.

My job is to motivate students to get the best results and I have had great success to date in doing so. Please feel free to contact me if you think I can help.

2-year full-time diploma in gardening and design, including a 3-month work placement at Kew Gardens, as well as landscaping and maintenance for private clients.

2001–2009 Senior Reference Editor (Penguin Books/Rough Guides) Responsible for liaison with writers and management of manuscri pt from preliminary stage through to finished product, including Rough Guide to Rock, Shakespeare, World Music, Country Music.
