I am a qualified science teacher with 7 years of classroom experience working in a variety of different schools. I currently teach all sciences in KS3 and KS4 however my specialism is Chemistry which I teach to both AS and A Level students. I have also been employed as an examiner for GCSE`s for many years and more recently I have also become an examiner for A Level Chemistry. As a result I have a good awareness of the common mistakes and misconceptions students have when answering exam papers which I am able to use effectively when teaching. From teaching and marking experience i am also aware of the topics which students find the most difficult and the ways in which to overcome these tough areas thus allowing all students to improve no matter their ability. Throughout my teaching and examining experience I have created a variety of different resources for both AQA and OCR specifications to help students to improve which I will share to support you with your learning. I am very passionate not only about the subject I teach but also making sure students can reach their full potential
