Hello, I am a friendly scientist eager to help students prepare for their GCSE or A level in Science.

I am mostly suited to teach Biology but can also help with Chemistry and Physics.

There is more to learning than reading the textbook. I believe that teaching critical thinking and science communication is essential not only for passing your exams but also to prepare you for academic success.

Availability: Available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday any time or weekends daytime only.

Experience: I have a Masters degree in Genetics from Newcastle University and real laboratory experience working on immunology and genetics.

I worked in labs in the US and the UK.

My diverse working experience will hopefully inspire students to achieve their goals.

Previously I have successfully prepared students for their GCSE in Core Science and taught university undergraduates in the laboratory.

If you are interested in becoming a scientist I can also arrange trips to see an actual cancer research laboratory.
