Information about Mellissa
I am an artist and young educator, I have been teaching students of all ages and abilities for 5 years and find teaching extremely rewarding.
I have just completed studying an MA in Art & Science at Central Saint Martins. I have a permanent exhibition at The Eden Project and do at least 3 to 4 shows a year.
I am very passionate about teaching art in particular and find teaching very rewarding. I`m very friendly and encouraging to students wanting to pursue art or to retake art at any level.
I have been studying art all of my educational life and know the ins and outs of getting a good grade.
I am also Dyslexic, which I see as more of an ability than a disability, I teach many students with learning difficulties as I understand their ways of thinking.
Availability: My availability depends on your needs, I am very flexible with my time so we can arrange a time and place easily.
I offer help with art coursework, writing coursework and any additional skills you need to develop
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: I have been teaching children and adults for the past 5 years, teaching at The University of Westminster, conducting workshops at gallery events, working closely with The Royal Microscopic Society and The Eden Project guiding students through their studies.
