¡Hola a todos! My name is Gema and I am from Extremadura, a delightful region in the West of Spain. I am a very dynamic and passionate Spanish teacher currently living in London. I have been studying Spanish Philology for 5 years in my country, which allowed me to gain knowledge in linguistics, second-language teaching, Spanish and English Literature and History. To continue my training, I completed a Master´s Degree in Spanish as a foreign language at Universidad de Extremadura (Spain) with the collaboration of the Cervantes Institute, which gave me the knowledge about language theories and about the process of language acquisition. Besides, I have been granted QTS (qualified teacher status) by the Department for Education in the UK and I am a DELE examiner with Instituto Cervantes in London (Levels A1-C2)

Availability: Concerning my availability: between 8 a.m and 8 p.m Monday to Saturday.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I have worked both in Spain and in the UK teaching students of all ages and backgrounds in secondary schools, academies, universities and businesses (All funds Bank, BNP Paribas, Allen and Overy, CMS, Ferrovial, among others). I have been teaching both in the classroom and online (especially recently during the Covid19 pandemic)
