I graduated from the University of Cambridge in July 2020 with a 2:1 degree in history, after having completed 7 years at Westcliff High School for Girls. I studied A Level History, Maths, Further Maths and Economics, achieving A*-A grades in all my subjects. I achieved A*-B Grades in 13 GCSE`s, FSMQ Aditional Maths, and A-B grades in AS History, Economics, English Literature and General Studies.
I am well organised and reliable, and enjoy helping others to achieve the best that they can. I am very enthusiastic about learning, and enjoy being able to help others develop similar passions for their areas of study.

Experience: I have over 4 years experience of maths tutoring from Key Stage 2 to A Level.
While at university I participated in a student society called Schools Connect, which sent tutors into local secondary schools. As a Project Coordinator I organised, planned, and led the teaching of an eight week extra-curricular history project for Year 7s entitled `Spies in Cambridge`. I also tutored on a after school history revision project for Year 11s.
I worked for three months tutoring English, Maths and 11+ preparation to 5-14 year olds, gaining many valuable skills and the ability to adapt my teaching style to individual students and needs. I then spent 6 months privately tutoring English at GCSE level.
While at school I mentored in both History and Business Studies to GCSE students.
History specialisms include Early Modern England, Tudors and Stuarts, American Revolution to American Civil War, Nazi Germany (1918-1939), the Cold War, USA Civil Rights, Communist Russia (1917-91), Mao`s China (1945-79) and Lancastrians, Yorkists and Henry VII (1399-1509).
