I am a confident, approachable, hardworking and highly professional Science Teacher with a proven track record of top results for my exam classes. Specialising in Biology A-Level, my real passion. I have successfully led students to achieve top grades in both GCSE Science and A-Level Biology and Chemistry exams, as well as having students gain places at top Universities, including Oxford and Cambridge.
Working as a private tutor allows me to draw on my experience as a teacher within a comfortable, imaginative yet academically stimulating environment. I strive to lead with integrity further supporting students in achieving outstanding academic success.

Experience: I have been teaching for 5 years, during these years I have taught science for KS3, GCSE and Biology and Chemistry A-Level. I previously worked in a state school, where I support students who found science difficult, so I have lots of patience and can work through the concepts at the past that best suits you/your child. I now work in a private school with a high academic standard, here I am involved in the process of preparing the students for any University interviews. I have a passion for science a really try to share that with my students to help them reach top grades.

I have lots of experience teaching both the AQA GCSE and Edexcel IGCSE curriculum as well as the AQA and OCR A-Level curriculum. I am responsible for the planning and teaching of the GCSE year in my school, so I have lots of knowledge about how the exam systems work and key tips for success in those exams. I am a qualified practical endorsement examiner so I also have very detailed knowledge on all of the practical aspects of the science exam.

During the COVID exam years I worked closely with exam boards for the marking guidance and now I have inside knowledge on how students can success in the written exam answers, something that has proved to really help my students for their results in the summer just gone.
