Information about Bernadetta

I am a final year medical student based in South West London, with a First Class Honours degree in an Intercalated BSc in Basic Medical Sciences with Behavioural Medicine.

I am passionate about teaching, and I believe that everyone has the potential to academically succeed with tailored support and one-to-one tutoring.

Availability: After 17:00 on weekdays and all day weekends. I am on hospital placement, so my availability may vary depending on the demands of my course.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: I am enjoying working as a mentor/tutor to students studying a Foundation degree/A-Levels at the INTO SGUL programme, and have done so for the last two years. I love tutoring Biology as it is something I am very passionate about. I have have also personally benefitted from tutoring in the past, so I know what works and how important it can be to help build confidence and improve exam technique.

In terms of other types of teaching, at university, I have been a student ambassador for the last four years where I have had the pleasure of running CPR and basic clinical skill sessions to students of all ages. I have also taught anatomy to first and second year medical students, and have been selected for two consecutive years as an ISOC lecturer for 1st/2nd year medicine/biomedicine revision sessions.
