Information about Fred
I am a qualified Maths teacher with over 15 years teaching experience. I hold a BSc , MSc and PhD in mathematics. I teach different levels ranging from year5 up to GCSE, IGCSE, A LEVEL and Undergraduate level. I teach both online and face to face (face to face for those close to my area), and I am also a full time Maths teacher.
I believe every child has a great potential in him that only needs to be stirred up in order to achieve outstanding results. I have seen it over and over again in the lives of many students I have taught over the years.
I know how to demystify Maths and make it easier to understand and enjoyable to the learner. I have helped many pupils achieve good grades in their exams, 99% of the students I work with achieve between A and A* grade.
My approach is very simple, I assess the student first (initial assessment) and set up a plan to cover any gaps identified and strengthen their areas of improvement by doing a lot exam questions, past papers and challenging questions.
For the past 2 years , 100% of the students I have taught (GCSE and A levels, including those in secondary school) got between A and A*.
Availability: Monday to Friday : 4pm-9 pm.
Saturday : 10.00am-7.00pm.
Sunday Afternoon.

Most Students I have worked with have achieved between A and A*(99%).
My approach is simple, I assess the student first by going through each topic the student has covered in class(initial assessment ) and that will enable me to quickly identify their strengths and areas of improvement, then I will set up a plan to cover all the gaps identified by strengthening the weak areas whilst I also consolidate the strong areas , I also strengthen the weak areas by going through the exam questions that students usually find difficult to understand.
Once the gaps are covered, I will focus on past exam papers to give more confidence and understanding to the student.
This Year, 100% of the students I have taught (GCSE and A levels, including those in secondary school) got between A and A*.

Fred is an excellent tutor, he really helped me to understand concepts in Maths and helped build my confidence in the subject by teaching me the gaps in my knowledge. Fred taught me in high school in which he helped me to get an A* in GCSE maths, and he taught me in sixth form in which I got an A* in A-Level maths. I would highly recommend him.
