Information about Katie
Hi I’m currently a university student studying civil engineering at loughborough. Having just completed my A-levels and since my degree is based on Maths and Physics i feel I have a good understanding to be able to teach these subjects. I also have a great passion for geography, with my EPQ being written on to what extent Venice can be preserved, looking at the effects of tourism, governance and climate change. The way I aim to teach is that I will provide the student with an exam to do, to gauge their level of understanding and know which areas they require help with and at what level this help should be provided. After the lesson I will then provide them with extra questions on the topic we have just gone over.
Availability: I am available on the evenings, from 5 pm and on the weekends.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I achieved 3 A grades in my A-levels in Maths, Physics and Geography as well as 11 GCSEs at grades B and above.

Katie has worked so hard with our daughter in preparing her for both Physics and Maths GCSE. She was always well prepared for sessions and provided homework to extend learning. Katie was always friendly and approachable and explained concepts clearly.
