Information about Yasmin
I am 21 years old, currently doing a work placement between the 2nd and 3rd year of my Film and TV Production BA Hons degree at Edge Hill University. I have been a part time freelance maths tutor for the past 5 years.
As a student I know the pressures of school but at the same time, I know how to surpass them, as well as lots of good revision techniques, resources, and in many cases, what examiners will be after. At the same time, I wish to broaden your understanding as well as being able to get the best grades for your GCSEs.
Availability: Due to my job, my availability differs a lot as I do shift work. This means I do get a lot of free time to tutor, however cannot guarantee I will always be available on a particular day of the week (but will defiantly be able to offer weekly lessons).
I can try my hardest to provide your child with a lesson at the same time every week, however this may not always be possible.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I did AS level Maths (I achieved an A) and am constantly doing Maths as have been tutoring for over a year now. Having recently completed GCSE Maths and AS Maths I know what the examiners expect and how to get the best grades (I have an A* in GCSE Mathematics and an A* in Further Maths, as well as another 6 A*s, 3 As and a B at GCSE so I may be able to help in other areas). I am also predicted all As in my 3 A-levels that I am taking.
I have done A Level English Literature, in which I am predicted an A* and have been consistently achieving A* throughout the course. I achieved an A* in both my GCSE English Literature and Language.
