Welcome! I`m a current Warwick University student offering Maths tuition.
I`m in my third year at Warwick University, studying Politics, Philosopy & Economics. I studied Maths, History and Economics for A Level, achieving A*, A*, A and also achieved 6 Grade 9s, 3 Grade 8s and 2 Grade 7s at GCSE, with a 9 in Maths.
I cater my lessons to the individual requirements of the student and parent and can help students who are struggling as well as gifted students who wish to achieve top grades. As a recent student, I fully understand the challenges of studying at secondary school and the stresses of exam preparation.
I started tutoring at the start of the pandemic, whilst an A Level student. Back then it was for a 10 year old relative who was struggling with lockdown Maths. I realised that I have a talent for simplifying and explaining key concepts and how rewarding it is to help someone understand Maths, which has always been a subject I love!
I am very personable and can get along with anyone, so lessons are also enjoyable.

Experience: So far I`ve taught KS2, GCSE and A Level Maths, and really enjoy any level. I adapt lessons to suit the tutee, and I`m flexible for whatever they need to learn, as everyone learns differently.
When tutoring I have used past papers, helped students make revision materials and worked through school homework issues, using examples to help build understanding.

One of my recent successes is tutoring someone who had to be home schooled during the pandemic. She struggled with Maths, however our weekly lessons enabled her to gain a Grade 6, a very proud achievement!

My arty daughter achieved a grade 6 for higher maths. Her school had predicted at 5 at best! We started Home Schooling at the start of the pandemic, we used Henry for approximately 6 months before the exams. Made such a positive difference to my daughter’s confidence and belief in herself. Henry is warm and friendly. Endlessly patient (and believe me my daughter tested this)! Offers a multitude of ways to tackle a problem until he finds the one that fits. Some sessions were used as expert ‘study buddy’ sessions going over homework. Other sessions led by Henry. Also did lots of past papers which Henry guided my daughter through to begin with and then quietly stepped back little by little until she was tackling the really tricky stuff on her own. We are over the moon with her performance and she is very relieved and thankful to have done such a good job. Thank you so much Henry!
