Hi, I`m Nicky! I am a PhD student at Cambridge, having done my undergrad at Oxford. I primarily tutor A-level and Oxbridge admissions, although I also accept GCSE students. I teach Maths and Physics. I also coach chess - I`m a FIDE-qualified coach for players up to 2000 (club level).
Availability: Available after 10am most weekdays and can arrange tutorials on weekends. I tutor online.

Experience: Having achieved straight 9s at GCSE and 4 A*s at A-level, I know what exam boards are looking for!
I have over a thousand hours of tutoring experience, both online and in-person.

Nicky tutored my son in Physics and Maths to help him prepare for his A-Level exams. With Nicky’s support, my son was able to improve his grades significantly in just over a year’s time, and even to get a higher grade in his Maths exam than had been predicted and we had been hoping for. Nicky is an excellent tutor, he is very knowledgeable in both of these subjects and has a thorough understanding of the standards and requirements at the A-Level. He was very good at adapting his teaching methods to my son’s level and abilities, he always made sure that the material was well understood and there were no gaps in my son’s knowledge. Nicky always had some useful advice for him on how to tackle various problems in the preparation for the exams and how to approach challenging tasks under exam conditions. My son enjoyed Nicky’s lessons, he found them very helpful and learned a lot of useful skills. Nicky was very well organized and professional, always polite, punctual and sensitive to my son’s needs – an absolute pleasure to deal with as a parent. Thank you Nicky, for your invaluable support throughout this challenging time, and for helping my son to get a place at the university of his first choice! I would highly recommend Nicky, he is an amazing tutor!
