Hello there

I am Stefanos, a highly experienced primary school teacher, special needs educator and Greek language tutor. I am passionate in sharing my perspective on the Greek language and culture with learners who are curious to discover the "Greek way of thinking". Learning a new language is about learning to think in a different way.

Availability: I am available most afternoons and evenings during the week and some weekends (upon discussion).

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: I have been working as a Greek language tutor for the last 6 years. I have had the pleasure to teach a variety of students across all ages, ethnic backgrounds and abilities, from primary-aged Greek students to adult learners from all around the globe. One of my proudest teaching achievements is to support a group of adult learners with their conversational Greek language skills for 5 consecutive years. The fact that every time they visit Greece are more and more able to communicate with locals, is the best reward I can personally ask, as a tutor.

I mainly offer on-line lessons and I provide all the teaching material and resources a student might need. I teach individual students and small groups and I offer the first lesson free of charge to evaluate the language level of the student(s) and discuss her/his targets and needs.
