I have a strong technical background in Mathematics, as a Professional Chemical Engineer and hence applying Mathematical principles daily, to solve complex Engineering problems.

I like to teach by application so that students have a clear idea of the `why` behind Mathematics. I underline the importance of the concepts taught at GCSE by offering a wide variety of examples where GCSE concepts are applied in the real-world - from the design of rockets to the design of your toaster at home!

Experience: Ash holds a First-class Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering, with A-levels in Mathematics & Further Mathematics at A* and A; and GCSEs in both Mathematics & Further Mathematics at A*.

Ash is also an experienced tutor, mentor and coach, with:

- 1 Year Experience as a Private Mathematics Tutor
- 2 Years Experience volunteering as a Teaching Assistant for GCSE Mathematics students
- Over 5 Years Experience coaching Kickboxing for Kids & Women`s classes
