Information about Nqobani

I am a fun and enthusiastic person with a myriad of interests and experiences. Eclectic is the best way to describe me, I can build rapport very quickly and maintain positive work-relationships.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I am a teacher with over two years’ experience of classroom teaching; I have also done some tutoring. I did a year in Cardiff of tutoring and I have started tutoring again this September 2020.
I have done tutoring for small groups and one to one tutoring too, my teaching role was in an SEN college for the last two years, teaching maths, physics (to A level) and GCSE science.
In addition to the tutoring job I recently started, I am registered with an agency that does cover teaching and the places I have done cover have been really impressed with me and one school in particular has kept my details for future cover/tutoring opportunities.
For A level maths and physics, I have used AQA and OCR while for GCSE maths and science I have taught AQA, OCR and Edexcel.
I have a relaxed but effective approach to teaching; my motto has the acronym SLOP (Shed Loads Of Practice). I believe the best way to learn is doing a lot of practice and learning from the mistakes made. Being a positive influence and supportive in my approach means that my students tend to feel like they are achieving something in my lessons.
