I am an experience teacher of GCSE and A level economics and politics. I have a bachelor`s degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford. I also have a Master of Arts (distinction) from the University of London in the history and politics of the Near and Middle East. My teacher qualification is a Post Graduate Certificate of Education in Secondary History from the University of Exeter. I have been teaching Key Stage 3, GCSE and A level history for almost 20 years and A level economics and politics for 18 years. I have also recently taught IB Diploma Global Politics.

Availability: I am available in person in Exeter, Devon and online from anywhere in the world. I can provide tutoring most evenings and weekends and of course during the school holidays.

Experience: I have extensive experience teaching UK politics at A level and the Global Politics paper 3 course. I have been an examiner for many years. I can really help you develop your understanding of political theory and ideology. I also also taught international relations and political theory at undergraduate level to private students. In terms of history, my specialism is in nineteenth and twentieth century history, particulary the Cold War period but I have also prepared students many times for the medicine through time course as well as at A level for the Tudor period. I teach both Cambridge and Pearson Economics at A level and GCSE and have an in-depth knowledge of all papers and units.
