I am a passionate tutor with a strong academic background in Chemical Engineering (BEng) and Data science & Artificial Intelligence (MSc). With experience in both the Data Science department of a management consultancy and a US-based mental health startup, I bring a real-world, problem-solving approach to my teaching. I specialise in tutoring mathematics and chemistry, offering clear explanations and tailored support to help students achieve their academic goals. I excel at keeping students engaged, including those with ADHD, by adapting lessons to their needs and learning styles.

Experience: I am an experienced tutor with a strong academic background in Chemical Engineering (BSc) and Data Science and AI (MSc), and I have been tutoring students from a variety of age groups, from early KS3 to A-level, for several years. I specialise in mathematics and chemistry, offering lessons that are both engaging and tailored to meet the individual needs of each student. I am familiar with popular exam boards, such as AQA, Edexcel, and OCR, and structure my lessons to help students prepare effectively for these specific exams.

My teaching style is highly interactive, incorporating hands-on learning activities and real-world examples to ensure that students not only understand concepts but also apply them confidently. I am also adept at keeping students engaged, particularly those who may need extra support, such as students with ADHD, by adapting my approach to their unique learning styles.

In addition to tutoring Chemistry and Maths, I have completed a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification and am skilled at delivering online lessons that are dynamic and effective to students from a range of backgrounds and cultures. I use various tools and strategies to ensure that my online sessions are just as engaging and impactful as face-to-face lessons, helping students stay motivated and on track with their learning goals.
