Yuchen

I`m a graduate of English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford. I offer guidance on essay-based subjects, improving students` skills of analysis, essay-writing, and approach to questions and texts so they can meet the challenges of the classroom and the exam environment. Having been through Oxford admissions which included submitting written work, an entrance test and interviews, I`m in an excellent position to help with university applications and entrance examinations, coursework and portfolios.

Experience: My experience ranges from providing essay-specific feedback to a Masters student of Business and Marketing at the University of Edinburgh, to running an intensive mock interview day for prospective Oxbridge English students, and tutoring for 13+ Private School Entrance Exams. I also have eight years of experience working with younger pupils at St Catherine`s Church in Penrith, where I trained and led a team of altar servers in the parish community, aged 11-15.
