As a Science teacher and Biology specialist, I continue to be enjoy passing on my enthusiasm for Science to pupils. I am a patient and exciting teacher, using a variety of learning styles and resources to make Science both interesting and accessible, and giving specific preparation for exams in order to raise grades. I have current experience of GCSE and A-level specifications, and for many years I have taught pupils with a range of abilities and needs, including dyslexia and ASD. I have a valid DBS certificate on the update service.

Experience: 33 years teaching Science KS3 - KS4 (most recently Edexcel but also AQA), and Biology A-level (OCR currently, previously AQA). Examiner for AQA A-level Biology for 7 years.
Success in tutoring A-level students to A* and A grades, as well as IB Biology.
