Hello!

My name is Anna and I have 10 years experience working as a year 6 teacher in an outstanding Primary School.

In my current role as full time class teacher, Senior Leader and Teaching and Learning lead, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of the year 6 curriculum and SATs expectations. I have recently completed a National Profession Qualification in Leading Teaching and am currently working towards a National Professional Qualification in Senior Leadership whilst on maternity leave. I have also worked for the local authority as both a reading consultant and writing moderator across Leicester City Schools.

Having worked in a challenging inner city school for a number of years, I understand the different approaches needed to motivate and enthuse young learners so that they may reach their full potential. I have a wealth of experience working with children who are below age related expectations or may have a Special Educational Need and have a proven record of ensuring that these children are able to gain confidence and make exceptional progress with the right input.

I am a friendly, positive and patient teacher looking to tutor anyone who may need a little extra support in any area of the Primary Curriculum. Whilst I am happy to tutor all ages, my specialism is in year 6 SATs tuition and I am happy to travel, tutor in my own home or provide online learning via zoom.
