I am a UK qualified, DBS checked teacher with years of experience teaching GCSE and A-level classes in British secondary schools. I offer French and Spanish tuition from Redbridge, East London. I am experienced with all main exam boards: OCR, Edexcel, AQA.

My first assessment of your needs will take into account your current expected grade (if known) and your exam board. In order to consolidate basis and build fluency, we will concentrate on key grammar and vocabulary as specified in the national curriculum. For GCSE students looking to secure entry into the Higher exam tier, it can be useful to reduce the scope of the vocabulary and drill key grammar points.

Regardless of the topic you are currently studying, I will make you practice in the 4 language skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking. Each one of these accounts for 25% of the final grade. Focus on a specific skill can be done on your request or on my advice after initial assessment.

Other key exam skills covered include: inference in reading, understanding the exam paper, producing an oral presentation, timing and strategies using past exam papers.
