I am a 23 year old graduate Chemical engineering student studying for an MSc in Sustainable Chemical Engineering at Newcastle University.
I’m an enthusiastic tutor with experience teaching undergraduates A-Level and GCSE students. I genuinely enjoy tutoring, am friendly and have excellent communication skills.

I am happy to offer assistance with homework, reviewing work from class to help understanding and to prepare for upcoming exams. I will tailor my lessons to the areas the student needs, moving at their pace and allowing them to gain not only the knowledge needed but also the confidence to succeed. While tutoring I prefer to help you understand the basic principles of the problem so you can build to the solution but also simply learning a formula doesn’t always lead to the correct answer.

Experience: While at sixth form and at university I have tutored students in GCSE and A-level maths and chemistry syllabuses. I am also comfortable working with SATs students and delivering functional skills maths.

Subjects such as maths and chemistry require a good background understanding but to achieve and progress, but practice is essential. I use a large number of examples in my teaching because it is not only useful in showing the application of the theory, but it also allows me to gauge the understanding of the student and be able to push them to achieve even more.
