Information about Krzysztof
Hello, I am a concert pianist and a very enthusiastic teacher currently doing the fellowship programme in piano performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, studying with Ronan O`Hora.
I am very passionate about sharing my musical experience with others. I believe that music has a great power to enrich our lives and everyone deserves it.
I think that everyone is different and I adjust my approach to the need of my students. In the end it is always about enjoyment and inspiration which comes from the music.
I teach classical piano and music theory at all levels. During piano lessons I work with a student on development of piano technique and musicianship as well as on his/her aural skills, harmony, sight-reading, analysis and elements of improvisation.
I can prepare students for ABRSM examinations, music competitions and concerts as well as teach students who are just starting the musical journey.
Lessons can be either in my place ( I have a nice kawai upright piano ) or I can travel to student`s home.
If you have any question or want to meet for a trial lesson please contact me.
Look forward to hear from you!
Availability: Very flexible. Always trying to make it convenient for students.
Willing to travel: 4 miles
Experience: 8 years private teaching experience in UK and Poland

I am an adult leaner after a 20+ year break from music and trying to improve my sight reading backed by solid music theory with Krzysztof.
His lessons have a good structure - we do a mixture of aural tests, explanation of theory, sight reading and playing piano pieces, and yet are flexible - we adjust what we cover so that we stay focused and make progress gradually but surely.
I find his teaching style relaxed yet vibrant, collaborative and conducive to ask questions with his very approachable personality. Thanks to that, despite ups and downs of learning music, every time I have a lesson with him, I feel re-motivated and more focused, which is exactly what one would need while going through a learning curve.
