I am a second year history student currently studying at Oxford University and would love to share some the knowledge that I have learnt. I am confident to teach any level up to GCSE after achieving an A* grade myself just a few years ago.
Having taken part in communication skills workshops with students from the University of Cambridge, I have developed my methodology around this technique. Subsequently, I focus on being attentive to the needs of the student, discovering the challenges they face whether in regards to the content itself, exam preparation or confidence, and focusing my lessons with them in a way suited to their needs. In addition to this, I feel confident of handling the materials and techniques required to achieve a good grade up to GCSE level in a patient and calm manner.
I am currently available for online lessons from primary to GCSE in both English and History.

Experience: I have taken part in experiential communication skills lessons for medical students at the University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine.
Other relevant experience includes having volunteered with primary school children at an after-school club as part of my Duke of Edinburgh Award.
I have tutored English in-person for 2 months for a primary school aged child.
I have taken part in my University`s Strategy Challenge, aimed at ending digital poverty for students across Oxfordshire.
I am a trained history and college ambassador for my university.
I am a college representative for my University`s Amnesty International Society.
I will also be partaking in conducting a situational analysis of the impact of COVID-19 on child abandonment in Kampala.
