Hi, I`m Kealy!

I`m a no-nonsense Maths tutor with a laidback approach.

I’m a qualified Secondary Maths teacher and have been tutoring the subject for almost 14years, mainly GCSE but have dealt with KS2-4.

I’ve got a degree in Psychology so have a good understanding of SEN and have an abundance of patience. I like to think I’m friendly, approachable and put people at ease which comes in useful for a subject many people find difficult.

I love teaching and tutoring Maths and believe in making the subject accessible for everyone and therefore avoid unnecessarily overcomplicating explanations during my sessions. I think Maths should be as fun as possible and I aim to make lessons enjoyable and engaging whilst also making good progress.

I thrive off helping people improve their Maths skills and am looking forward to trying to do this for you. 😊;;

Availability: At the moment, I have limited early evening availability but have most nights from 7pm and am open to weekend bookings.

Happy to accommodate daytime sessions in school holidays but can’t in term time as I do work in the classroom too.

Experience: I have been a Maths tutor for almost 13 years and have been a fully qualified Secondary Maths teacher since 2019.
I have experience tutoring from ages 11 onwards, from SATs to GCSEs and dabbling in Functional Skills. I have worked with pupils who are at school, older students who are resitting at college and adults who are looking to retake their qualification to make career changes so am open to all enquiries within my remit.
