Information about Sarosh

Hi there, my name is Sarosh and I am currently working as an Audit Associate at a top 10 professional and financial services firm in London. Alongside this, I am studying towards the esteemed ACA chartered accountancy qualification and a postgraduate level apprenticeship. I am a 2020 school leaver from Pate`s Grammar School, Cheltenham which was named The Sunday Times Secondary School of the Year 2020. Pate`s consistently ranks as a top 20 and top 40 UK secondary school for A-level and GCSE results respectively in reputable UK league tables.

I achieved two 9s, four 8s, and four 7s at GCSE level (equivalent to six A*s and four As as per the old, lettered grading system) and have completed 3 A-levels in Maths, Economics, and Chemistry with grades AAA.

In any spare time that I have, I love consuming various forms of Korean content (K-pop, K-dramas, K-variety shows, etc.) and am currently learning Korean!

As a tutor, I will ensure that my teaching is outcome-focused with an intention of enabling the tutee to achieve the highest possible grade by ensuring a super watertight grasp of concepts along with as much question practice as possible. The scope of any Maths syllabus is finite with respect to concepts, but an examiner can pose questions in a variety of ways. Therefore, from my experience, gaining exposure to these questions is the key to securing your desired grade and confidently take the next step in your life.

The tutee can bring their own material to the introductory lesson if they are confident of the specific topic/s they are having difficulty understanding and we can accordingly progress. In the case the tutee is unsure as to which topics they are having difficulty understanding, I am happy to take a look at their curriculum and run through the list of topics in a chronological manner. This will help both the tutee and I get an indication as to what topics and sub-topics they are uncomfortable with. Consequently, I will be able to prepare appropriate lessons and set topic-focused questions from past papers to attempt.

I am currently in the middle of my "busy season" and hence my tutoring availability will be limited to weekends and post 8:30-9pm for weekdays.

Willing to travel: 1 miles

Experience: Over my 2 years in sixth form, I had enjoyed tutoring Year 7 pupils at my secondary school.

I have also had experience of tutoring Maths to KS3 and GCSE students via online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. I have aided in raising student`s marks from approximately 75% to over 90% in school tests in 2 months.

UPDATE: I will currently be tutoring solely via online learning (through the Tutor Hunt Online Whiteboard).

5/5 Rating

Sarosh is an excellent, professional and very dedicated mathematics tutor. He explains the material very well and makes learning engaging. He also listens to the student and adapts learning accordingly. Sarosh is a very knowledgable tutor and my son is very happy with the lessons he receives from Sarosh. So I would highly recommend Sarosh. Rahima Swindon.
