I have been teaching Science at secondary school level for seven years. For four of these year I have offered private tuition to students in Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. I studied Biomedical Science at the University of Southampton and am currently a Science teacher at a Suffolk high school. I have taught and tutored students in Biology, Chemistry and Physics and have experience and am confident in teaching across the three main exam boards - Edexcel, OCR Gateway and AQA. I have a lot of experience in teaching both content and exam technique for the new heavily exam based 9 - 1 GCSEs.

I understand that every student learns in a different way and therefore always use a number of different methods in my teaching in order to help my students revise and learn in the most effective way for them so that they may enjoy the learning and find ways to make the content easy to remember. I have a very good success rate in helping students to achieve and exceed their target grades in Science. In August 2017, the students I tutored all achieved an A or A* at GCSE level.
