I have been a professional singer for more than 15 years and love my job.
Now 33 and living in Buckinghamshire, I have a wealth of experience in both studio and live work has enabled me to gather in depth knowledge of the music world that I enjoy sharing with my students.

I currently sing live for the Joe Loss Orchestra and for many other professional bands. I also write for a record label and while these things keep me busy, I love to teach in my spare time during the week. It`s actually my favourite part of my job as I really enjoy watching people`s ability and confidence grow as a result of our work together.

I have a deep belief that learning to sing should be always be fun. As a child I remember being plonked in front of a piano and made to conduct endless scales and nursery rhymes by my singing teacher and I couldn`t wait for it to end... As a result, I conduct my lessons in way that means we spend half of the time learning with songs you actually want to sing and the rest of the time learning through talking, laughter, experimentation with your voice and explanations of how everything works. Over time, this all comes together to enable you to both know and feel how to sing better. And allows for it to be enjoyable in the process...You should always be able to look forward to lessons if you are paying for that time.

I am a tutor better suited to students wishing to learn to sing modern contemporary music, as this is where my training has been. I have a higher diploma in singing teaching, which I achieved with The Voice College, London and gives me a combination of both real world and classroom music experiences.
