I have six years teaching experience as an Outstanding Lead Teacher in English with a Masters in Educational Leadership.
I offer engaging, focused teaching strategies to target weaknesses or simply facilitate accelerated progress in Key Stage 3 or 4 English.
Availability: I can offer weekly tutoring or more intensive sessions during holidays.
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: I have experience teaching OCR, AQA and iGCSE English and I am an examiner for iGCSE English Language and the new AQA GCSE English Language.
I have supported students to achieve their targets and aspirations - both as a classroom teacher and tutor. For some students this has been a Grade 9 and for others this has meant making two grades improvement in their resit. I treat every student as an individual l and tailor my approach to them.
I have previously been Intervention Coordinator at a large school with excellent results and so I have experience in working with students individually or in small groups to make measurable progress.
