Throughout my life I have lived all over the world, such as Belgium, Qatar and most recently Nanjing, China. I have experienced a lot of different cultures and met a wide range of different people; from this I have an understanding of the real world and think that diversity and acceptance of all people is crucial to any good work environment.
I am proficient in IT with both Apple and Microsoft products. When I attended Nanjing International School in China laptops were mandatory for every lesson, because of this I have extensive experience in all primary software including, excel, powerpoint, word etc.
In my personal life I am a highly active person, I enjoy a variety of activities such as running, cycling, basketball and golf. Water sports are my main passion, I am trained in swimming, sailing and as a windsurfing instructor. I thoroughly enjoyed coaching these activities and I found that I was very adept at working with children and engaging their enthusiasm for the sport. This was especially the case when I worked for Camp Leaders, in Massachusetts, USA for nine weeks.

Experience: I have taught a wide variety of students, I initially started tutoring school children between the ages of 6-15 English, Maths, Piano and Music Theory. After I moved back to the UK from Nanjing I studied at university and used to tutor as a part time job, and these were mostly adults ranging from 35 to 60 years old, and I tutored all the same subjects as before but I also tutored Mandarin as well. Now I have a Teaching English as a foreign language Level 5 qualification I have started to look for tutoring more English, but I am also still tutoring Mandarin at a basic level too.
