Information about Sue
My academic background is in biochemistry but I have been teaching in a range of subjects at different levels for many years. I am a skilled chemistry and biology teacher, whose teaching career has focused mainly on adult students returning to study on a range of pre-degree courses. Over the years, I have developed a deep understanding of those aspects of chemistry and biology that give students the greatest challenge and I have become skilled in helping students develop their approach to learning these subjects and hence improve their understanding significantly.
Availability: Some week day afternoons and evenings plus weekends
Willing to travel: 4 miles
Experience: I have taught chemistry to A level and first Year university level for over 25 years in addition to biology and study skills at undergraduate and post-graduate level. I am a qualified teacher and am also a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
