Information about Marco
I am fully qualified to teach numeracy/mathematics. I hold an ADTLLS Mathematics (Numeracy) from the University of Greenwich, London. I hold a DTLLS/PGCE Post-Compulsory from the Institute of Education, University of London, and was awarded QTLS from the Institute for Learning in April 2012. I also hold Ecuadorian Primary and Secondary teacher training qualifications. I also have a BSc Mathematics & Physics (Level 6) from Ecuador (comparability confirmed by NARIC). I am able o teach Spanish, any level. I was a primary, secondary school teacher (able to teach Spanish from key stage 1 to key stage 5)

Experience: I have been teaching in London since 2008 when I started my PGCE/Diploma Post-Compulsory at the Institute of Education. I taught numeracy and ICT to adults with Global Learning Difficulties at the Elfrida Society in Islington from 2008-2011. I taught Numeracy and ICT at Action for Refugees in Lewisham from 2010 to 2011. I taught Functional Skills Mathematics and ICT at Capel Manor College. I have been teaching adults at Hackney Community College (and in Children’s Centres across Hackney) since April 2011, and I have been teaching adults for the Learning Trust since September 2012.
I have been Teaching in different schools around Greater London area, supporting learners with additional learning support, (autism and global learning difficulties) I have been teaching mathematics/numeracy for 30 years, starting from teaching at primary and secondary schools in Ecuador (and university) to teaching numeracy and maths to young people at Capel Manor College London in 2008-2011, and teaching Family Learning/numeracy at Hackney Community College and the Learning Trust since March 2011/September 2012.
