I am an experienced primary school teacher with teaching experience across the primary age ranges. I am fully DBS checked and a copy of my most recent certificate will be provided on first meeting

I am currently the Deputy Headteacher at a local junior school and before that was the Special Educational Needs Coordinator/Inclusion Manager. In the past few years I have also undertaken the same role at a local infant school. I hold the National Award for SEN Coordination and have experience of working with pupils with a wide range of educational needs.

I am also a mum of two little boys aged 7 and 2.

Availability: Thursday and Friday evenings, weekends (will endeavour to accommodate any times outside of school hours wherever possible)

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I am an experienced primary teacher who believes in inspiring and engaging teaching that is individually tailored to the child I am working with. I have high standards and expectations and a `firm but always fair` approach!
I am able to help with a range of learning issues that might be faced by children of this age - for either mainstream children or children with additional needs. I am able to support reading, writing and maths development, or foundation subjects where required.
I have extensive experience of working with children with ASD,ADHD and other learning difficulties in an educational environment and have strong behaviour management skills.
Above all, I understand that every child is unique and has a slightly different learning style. I believe that every child will make progress with patience, hard work and a `growth mindset` approach!
