About me as a Piano Teacher

Hello, I am a recent graduate that previously studied at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute, graduating with Second Class (Division One). I am able to teach all various type of students, whether my students are simply looking to learn for enjoyment or if they are a student seeking to learn ABRSM grade syllabus. I am an accomplished pianist, having played for 15 years. I am a fun-loving and motivating teacher that firmly believes each student should always enjoy the lesson and learn at their own pace. Focusing on building a good foundation for my beginners before moving onto learning grades, whilst providing guidance and motivation to each of my students to achieve their personal full potential.

My lesson & Teaching style

1. I will teach you how to read the music notes and have a good sight-reading level
2. My piano teaching method focuses on building a good foundation for my students before moving onto ABRSM grades or learning your dream piece.
3. For my beginner or intermediate level students, I will give you the book/material name suggestions that I think would help you improve your piano skill
4. For students that are not interested in learning how to read the music notes or you can already read the notes and would like to learn your dream song! Please tell me the name of the song or send me the pdf file so I can teach you and we can learn it together!

About me as a singing teacher

I am also able to provide singing lessons to students of all various ages for enjoyment purposes. Recently graduating with a 2nd honours (first degree) majoring in vocals at BIMM London. I have learnt many techniques and vocal methods over the years which has given me the knowledge to personally guide each of my students to build their own vocal skills. I firmly believe that every person has the capability to sing and with the right motivation and guidance, I am here to help develop each of my student`s vocal capabilities. As vocals is particularly a vulnerable instrument, it is important for each of my students to feel comfortable and relaxed whilst most importantly enjoying the most out of each of our lessons. I am a patient, motivating and warm-hearted teacher that is always seeking to help each of my students develop at their own pace. I can also help students with their songwriting skills, where we could potentially combine both piano and singing lesson together if that is something that might be of interest.

1. I am available for online lessons only
2. I teach online piano to children age 9 above due to young children`s attention span. But, if your son/daughter is interested in my online piano lessons and they are below this age. Please don`t hesitate to contact me, I would be happy to arrange a trial assessment lesson.

Experience: Previously working for two different music companies where I was able to gain lots of experience in various teaching techniques, before changing to a freelance teacher. I have been teaching piano to students of all various different ages for over 4 years, with students ranging from 5-70 years old. During my third year of studies, I was teaching full time before changing to online teaching in March.
