Information about Patricia
I am an ex-research scientist who has been successfully tutoring online and face to face since 2010. I have experience of teaching from GCSE and A level through to tutoring in a top flight university including teaching to non-uk students, mature learners and health care professionals.
Availability: Due to a change in personal circumstances I am not currently taking on new students.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: Having completed A levels in biology, chemistry and double maths I gained a degree and then PhD in human genetics at the university of Nottingham. I was a research associate at the university of Leicester for 6 years and have a broad general knowledge of biology and chemistry. I began tutoring in 2010 and have had a number of very successful students who have maximised their potential and been able to move with confidence to the next stage of their education and career.

Trish has really helped our daughter with Biology A level by listening to her concerns, finding out how she best learns and structuring the sessions to meet her needs. Trish is very encouraging and the sessions are very much two-way. Our daughter looks forward to her weekly Skype tutor "meet up" and it`s been hassle free and as effective as face to face.
