Information about Katie
I graduated from the University of Liverpool in July 2014 with a 2.1 degree in English. I also have an A in GCSE English and studied both English Literature and English Language at A level. I have been an English teacher in a secondary school for the past 6 years teaching a range of classes at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. I am also an AQA marker and have lots of experience with exam marking and exam criteria. I am an incredibly patient and understanding teacher and tutor and aim to push students to achieve their best.

Experience: I currently work as an English teacher in a secondary school and have excellent subject knowledge of the GCSE English syllabus for both Language and Literature. I have knowledge of teaching A Level Combined English (language and literature) and am currently teaching A Level English Language. I have been a tutor for the past 18 months for GCSE students.
